ASÍ’s method offers an immersive and culturally-rich experience for learners.
Improving on Traditional Language Learning

Is Traditional Language Learning Effective?
Language is a live, dynamic skill that is constantly changing – but it’s often taught in a traditional class setting that it makes it difficult to achieve true fluency. Without real-world context or situations to support your learning, how can you truly be prepared for real-world interaction?

A Time Tested Approach:
Immersion Language
At ASÍ, we take a different approach to Spanish education. Grammar, syntax and vocabulary are all essential parts of learning a language, but just as important are real-world conversations with natives who can correct and guide you during your journey. Our approach offers regular interaction with native speakers who guide students on the cultural nuances and intricacies of language.

This really depends on the student’s proficiency level and goals:
- For high school or college credit: we recommend starting with 40 hours of lessons.
- If you are an adult traveling who wants to learn the basics before a trip we recommend taking between 10 to 20 hours of lessons depending on how much time you have.
- A goal of reaching some kind of level of conversational fluency, we recommend around 60 hours of lessons at a minimum.
- For students 13 years or younger, the classes are 30 minutes long.
Yes, absolutely. You may have recurring weekly lessons with your teacher.
Each of our instructors go through an extensive, 3-month training program that covers many topics of methodology/pedagogy. They are all native speakers of the Spanish language and have a conversational level in English.
Please notify the teacher and academics director about having to cancel a lesson at least 24 hours in advance so the class can be rescheduled. No shows are counted toward the class quota. We offer a one-time grace period for any first time incidences.
